Central Water Commission Report

According to the report of the Central Water Commission, the rivers are in spate in the last few days due to torrential rains in the water logging areas. The river Ganges has crossed the danger mark in Ghazipur and Ballia.
At the same time, its water level in Varanasi, Phaphamau (Prayagraj) and Kachlabridge (Badaun) have reached near the danger mark. According to the report, Yamuna river is flowing above the danger mark in Hamirpur and Chilaghat (Banda), Betwa river Sahijna (Hamirpur), Sharda river Paliyakalan (Lakhimpur Kheri) and Ghaghra river Elginbridge (Barabanki)
